Dan Marino

This was a personal project that I had a lot of fun with.

 

I admit that as a New England Patriots fan, I had to put my hometown pride aside to design something related to an opposing team. But, I've always appreciated the color scheme of the Miami Dolphins' uniforms and as a kid always wore number 13 in sports, just like Dan Marino.

I once again took a minimalist approach using a limited color palette, and simple shapes and shadow effects to bring the design together.

​

I wanted the shapes in the background to be fun and free flowing. I experimented with different opacities and gradients to give the design a sense of depth and layering.
